Toyota launched a project to improve their Owners on-boarding experience through their website. The Owners mobile app also needed to be updated in tandem to ensure a consistent experience between the two platforms.
Updates to the registration flow
1. Mandate the addition of a servicing dealer when adding a vehicle by VIN
2. Streamline enrollment into Entune app suite, the multimedia and in-car app suite
The app contained a large number of screens and it was difficult to track the relation between screens. To help portray how each individual user task fits into the bigger picture, a flow diagram was created.
Some of the required updates aren’t obvious when looking at the flow diagram. The details were specified in an annotations document.
